The station closed on 21 April 2025 for a rebuild delivered with the Breakneck Connector. Because it has no rows in Metro-North's timetable data, most apps show nothing rather than a closure.

Metro-North's Breakneck Ridge station has been closed since 21 April 2025 while it is rebuilt as part of the Breakneck Connector and Bridge project. No trains stop there.
The failure mode worth knowing about is a quiet one. The station has no rows at all in Metro-North's published timetable data, so a journey planner asked for a train to Breakneck Ridge does not report a closure — it reports nothing, or silently routes you elsewhere. A visitor can plan a whole day around a station that no longer exists as far as the data is concerned.
This website handles that case explicitly. Ask it for arrivals at Breakneck Ridge and it tells you the station is closed and names the nearest open one, rather than showing an empty list that looks like a bug. When rows for the station reappear in the timetable feed, live departures start showing here automatically, with nobody editing anything.
Use Cold Spring for the southern end of the corridor and Beacon for the northern end.
