About
Our organization
Hudson Highlands Fjord Trail, Inc. is the non-profit created to build and steward this trail. Mission, governance, staff and board, and the documents that let you check any of it.
Hudson Highlands Fjord Trail, Inc. is the non-profit working to create and steward the Fjord Trail, in partnership with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and the host municipalities of Beacon, Fishkill, Philipstown and Cold Spring.
Its stated vision: to create opportunities for people to connect with the land, the river and each other in ways that bring them joy and inspire a personal commitment to care for the Hudson River and the Earth.
Governance and transparency
Form 990s, audited financial statements and the signed SEQR Findings Statement are published in the Digital Resource Library, with the file format and size shown before you tap — because a 20 MB PDF over a patchy cell connection is a decision, not a link.
Staff and board
Information
Not in this prototype
The current site's staff and board page runs to more than 8,000 words in a page builder, which means editing one biography means opening a layout tool. In the rebuilt site each person is a record: name, role, biography, photograph, credit. One bio can be corrected in thirty seconds without touching a layout, and the same records feed the partners page and any press listing.
The records themselves are HHFT's to supply, and we have not invented people.
