About
Partners and design team
Who is building this and who has a say in it: the public agencies, the municipalities, the design team and the committees.
A project on this corridor is a negotiation between a lot of parties, and it is worth being able to see who they are in one place. On the current site the design team, the committees and the partnerships live on three separate pages, one of which is a verbatim duplicate of another that has been live and indexed since 2022.
Public partners
- New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation — lead agency for the environmental review, and the owner and manager of Hudson Highlands State Park Preserve.
- Metropolitan Transportation Authority / Metro-North Railroad — owner of the rail corridor much of the southern trail runs within, and of the three stations that serve it.
- City of Beacon, Town of Fishkill, Town of Philipstown, Village of Cold Spring — the four host municipalities.

Information
Records, not a page
Firms and committees become records with a name, a role, a website and a date joined, so a firm's name is typed once and appears wherever it is credited — including on the renderings it produced. Photographic and rendering credits on this site are generated from the same rights data, which is why the credits page is accurate rather than positional.
The specific firms and committee memberships are HHFT's to confirm; we have not reproduced them from the current site into the prototype.
